About the event
It’s a mad world out there, although it is where we belong—which is to say, in life, in relationship, not isolated from it. But stable, grounded spaces of belonging and vulnerability among men are disappearing. Training fields where men can say “I don’t know” and “I need help” without being judged, are needed. Places to practice actual masculinity without being made to feel weak, are required. Especially when approaching a graduate level spiritual teaching that intentionally goes for the jugular, mercilessly exposing how the personality automates and hijacks my behavior.
Most guys make a run for it (read: dismiss, flex, rationalize, mock or know it all already).
We are at Claymont Court in West Virginia (during its most spectacular Autumn weather) to explore with other men the introductory principles and essential tools of the system brought by G.I. Gurdjieff. Plus manual work, contemplative exercises, feasting and other shit to make your spirit…
